History and Values

We are the leading proponents of social rugby in Norfolk. Having rejoined the RFU league structure at the start of the 2005-06 season, our 1st team can challenge some of the best in Norfolk yet we retain our dedication to enjoyment of the sport.

Founded in 1974 the Club has spent the last 2 years channelling its energies and resources into rebuilding its Clubhouse facility. Any of you who have visited the club over its 30+ year history will know what a huge achievement this is for a non-funded club. With all the changes going on around us it could have been all too easy to detract from what we are all about and that is a ‘Traditional Rugby Club’ but thankfully the improvements have had a dramatic affect on the players and the teams ability and standards.

Support from our players has been overwhelming, new players have come on board, spectators both at home and away matches is ever increasing, training is no longer frowned upon and our VP’s and members continue to grow in numbers. In fact all is rosy in camp but we have to maintain our standards and keep momentum going to build on our success, as with any self-funding organisation, we are reliant on sponsorship and support from businesses, associates and the local community.
